WHO WE ARE

AeroPhage® was founded in 2021 by Dan Black and Prof. Aaron Moody, both Durham University alumni with extensive knowledge of their respective areas. After Prof. Moody devised a unique combination of phages that could be used for treating bacterial infections that arise in in Cystic Fibrosis (CF), they set about recruiting the talented team of experts which makes up AeroPhage® today. After successful in vivo proof of concept experiments, we recently secured a patent for HexaPhage®, our six-phage cocktail designed to combat the deadly bacterial pathogen, Pseudomonas aeruginosa. We hope to use this technology to combat the growing problem of antibiotic resistant bacteria, first in CF patients, and later to combat antibiotic resistant infections wherever they arise.
